Cool Dark Personality
During the early 1980’s, Angela Wright, a noted colour psychologist noted the links between patterns of colour and patterns of human behaviour. She saw the link between the four personality types with the four-colour families that Johannes Itten, of the Bauhaus school, had also noticed earlier in the twentieth century. His discoveries of human colouring and artist endeavours I’ll cover in another article.
It has been said that it is hopeless to classify the many millions of humans around the globe into just four types, yet we try to box everyone up. The fundamental trends are absolute (as are the basic male/female patterns), but similarly, there are as many variants as there are people. Each of us comprises of elements of one or more of the remaining three colour patterns; comprehending the basic four types is essential to knowing ourselves and others.

Cool and Darks are often introverts preferring their own company or a few close friends to large gatherings. Time spent alone to internally collect themselves is crucial to them.
