Your Face is Telling Your Story
The study of face reading goes back almost 2700 year to the time of Aristotle when scientists studied the correlation between human behaviour and an individual’s physical form. This early study was called Physiognomy and has been a source of discussion and research for centuries.
Early last century a Los Angeles judge by the name of Edward Jones had ample time to make his own studies of the people who came into his court. He took these studies further and after analysing the original 200 traits that had been studied to date he narrowed his findings down to 68 traits that had roughly 92% accuracy when it came to profiling an individual.
Understanding these traits can make getting to know the person in front of you a whole lot simpler. Imagine if just by looking at someone you could tell if they were really open, or slightly closed, someone who likes the big picture, or someone who needs loads of details, some who processes information in a linear sequential manner or someone who thinks very quickly on their feet, and much much more.

One of my favourites is the Eyebrows. You have high brows and low brows, and guess where those sayings come from.
The high brow person is a person whose eyebrow sits more than the distance of their eye above their eye and the low brow person has less than a whole eye visible under their brow.
Jessica Alba and Katie Holmes has low brows whilst Oprah and Beyonce have high set eyebrows.
So what does that tell you?
The high brow person is more discriminating. They will be more formal until they get to know you and can seem quite aloof and stand-offish until you get to know them. They will tend to be more formal until they feel comfortable so if you are meeting them for the first time, Don’t stand in their personal space until they welcome you. If you see a person with high brows standing off to the side of the room it might just be that they have become used to people being defensive around them so they have built up a wall of defense. Go and welcome them into your group, chances are they are feeling lonely and do not want to intrude.
The low brow person is going to be less formal and a ball of fun. They don’t stand on formality and are very friendly. These are the people who will shorten your name, in fact, everyone’s name, even if they barely know you. They will stand closer and are great at small talk because most of it is just that, talk, they don’t mind if you follow through or not. People with lower brows can make people with higher brows uncomfortable as they will assume friendship or a connection well before the higher brow person feels it is warranted.
Lower brow people make great sales people as they are very warm and welcoming to all that they meet.
