Tonight I noticed the growing trend of delicate blue poppies gracing dresses.
Giambattista Valli Fall 2013 gown of raised embroidered blue poppies started the trend, carried on Lupita Nyong’o at the recent Marie Clair Fresh Faces Party then seen again when Kate Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge wore an L.K.Bennett blue poppy dress.
If I were to hazard a guess it would be that poppies, blue, red and many other varieties will be popping up in wardrobes and fashion ranges around the globe.
Very fitting, when we consider it is our Anzac day this coming Friday and the poppy is the flower of our remembrance.
