How does a Creative Woman Accessorise

As a Creative Woman you will enjoy the fun you can have with accessories. Quite possibly what I have here is not to your style, as I find every Creative woman is individual and can make magic appear out of the most mundane and unexpected.

If you are unsure of your own personality, do my quiz here.

Creative Accessories

Creative Accessories by claremaxfield featuring a black ink pen

General description

Your accessories will be out of this world. I do not even know how to start describing what and how you will be wearing all of your pieces. This is probably the only personality where I need to know your values to make any recommendations for you. Jewellery, hats, scarves, bags and belts. For you, anything goes. the only thing that you won’t do is the expected.

Elements will be very over size, colours will be chaotic, and styles will be out of synch. With that in mind, you are likely to wear large resin pieces, rework pieces that you find in the flea markets or opportunity/goodwill stores.

If your bag is plain and simple you will adorn it with pompoms or other fun elements to hand from the handles and the zip.

Resin could feature heavily in your wardrobe, from over size flowers, to geometric designs or cartoon kitsch pieces. You will love to make many of your pieces or if you can afford to, to buy from artisans.

Reworking pieces will give you the freedom to put your individual stamp on all you have and allow you the opportunity to keep bringing new life to old pieces. You will tire very easily with your accessories if they do not engage your love of life so you will buy more cheap and cheerful pieces over investment pieces like the others.

How you will express the other personalities.

Creative Accessory Variations

Classic – Ha, this is not you, but when you feel the need to follow the call of the classic, you will consider either toning down your colours to only 2-3 or maybe taking a tassel from your handbag.

Dramatic – Watch out, here you come. Those resin pieces you love just got bigger and bolder in colour. Big belt buckles and signature shoes.

Elegant Chic – You will tonally head towards camel, cream and gold. You just might wear more chains than the average elegant chic woman.

Feminine – Butterflies, polka dots, pinks and diamantes will feature in your accessories. Your glasses, necklaces, rings and bracelets.

Natural – lots of polished wood, polished stone and strips of leather will be strung over your body. You will prefer the natural tones and elements arm nature in your accessories.

Rebellious – Bring out those crosses, skulls, roses and metal wear. Oversized or layered into a wild assortment. Or, it might just be one very large cross a la Madonna circa ‘Like a Virgin’

How to Dress the Margarita (full breasted woman) in Autumn/Winter

Margarita Woman -autumn winter style

Margarita Woman -autumn winter style by claremaxfield featuring genuine leather jackets

Today’s woman is my Margarita or the full Busted small hipped woman

She has a wondrous bust that has been made by man or made by God. Depending upon the maker will often influence her own appreciation and comfort level with her fuller bust.  If she was born this way, there is a high possibility it will not be one of her most favoured assets. Especially after succumbing to a life time of people speaking to her breasts and not her face. she will opt for concealing and camouflaging her bust.

Now if she has paid to become buxom and voluptuous, she will do everything in the chart below as an opposite. Where I will tell one one to avoid high necks tops, as it will highlight her bust. this woman will embrace the high neck and will enjoy full disclosure of her bosom, or as much as society allows.

She has a defined waist. She has fuller breasts, a smallish waist and hips that are in balance with her shoulders. She is the shape we often aspire to. She may be small or large, as I have known many a fuller figured woman with this shape who sadly hides it.

This woman has a gorgeous waist and should show it off.

What to do if your colouring is neither warm, cool, light or dark. You are muted.

Muted

Muted Colouring

Muted Colouring by claremaxfield featuring a v neck dress

This is an often overlooked colour group. This is where you find people who are neither light or dark, they are not truly overly warm or cool and especially they are not pure. It is one of my largest colour groups that I work with as well. As it can be cool and muted, warm and muted, light and muted and deep and muted. They just cannot be pure and muted.

When you look at these colours you will notice a muted tone to the colour. They are toned as opposed to shaded. They are neither light nor dark.

They will have a medium contrast.

This is due to either the ageing process which does soften our colouring or the mixing of races and the resulting blending of normally strong colouring patterns.

The muted group are a colour group which will be hard to pinpoint in magazines as they are often airbrushed to lighten or brighten their colouring.

Best Colours – Any shade which is soft. Like your colouring it doesn’t have any harsh edges to it. Teals, Sage, mushroom, light olive even apricot and turquoise feature in this group.

Hair tones will be high lighted. There is a natural leaning of this group to having multi tonal hair. The softness of their colouring lends them to blonde and caramel and auburn highlights. These women can and will be a version of warm and cool. They will not be cut and dried with their colouring and, if this is you, will be really undecided which way suits you the best. Be cautious of the warm, giving warmth to your colouring. Look at which soft colours make you look alive and give clarity to your eye colour and softness to the whites of your eyes.

Best Jewellery -You will suit mixes of gold and silver more than wearing just one or the other.

Best Neutrals -As you will see, anything which is softer in its colour.

Males in this colour group will often find they wear stronger colours than necessary when working in the corporate sector otherwise they can appear to fade away. Many Natural Personality men will embrace this colour palette without caring if it suits them or not.

Balancing your hair texture with your clothing

Dressing for your hair texture

Dressing for your hair texture by claremaxfield featuring a cold shoulder shirt

Just like the skin your hair will have a huge impact on what is going to suit you well. You want to create a balance to your overall appearance.

Straight hair – You will want to wear sharp clothing. Straight lines, crisp fabrics and fabrics with geomatics or abstract art patterns as opposed to natural or floral. Your fabrics will want to be the kind of fabrics that either wash and dry to a crisp flat finish or you will be one to iron regularly. Cottons, clear cut woollens, fine knits. Plain fabrics will also suit you. Well structured clothing will also be in harmony.

Wavy hair – Fabrics with motion will enhance your hair. Waterfall jackets, floaty tops and layers. Natural and floral prints will harmonise best with your hair. Plain fabrics in a  soft weave will suit you as opposed to sharp geomatics patterns. frills and flounces can suit you very well, as long as they fit your personality.

Curly hair – You suit crisp and soft fabrics, depending on the tightness of your  curl. The tighter your curl the sharper your fabrics can be. You look wonderful in round and curved geometric prints as opposed to those made up of sharp and straight lines.
