What does the Rebellious Woman look like?

General Description

The Rebellious Woman
The Rebellious Woman

Rebellion may not necessarily be first and foremost on your mind but fitting in is not. You really don’t care what other people think. Your style is about making a statement. You are most at home in something with elements of grunge, rock, punk or even goths your style

Challenges –  fitting in, wearing everyday clothes, keeping the establishment happy. Having said that, she doesn’t see these things as a challenge as she often does not care.

Perceived Personality Style  Anti-establishment,  wild and party loving. The metal, the ink and the leather, give people the impression that she is wild, that she is naughty and that she does not know how to behave in polite society. Aside from the fact, there is often nothing polite about polite society, she knows what she is doing and can drop the look, should she wish to. It’s just that she doesn’t wish to. She’s a real wild child often with a heart of gold.

Hair and Make-up

The Rebellious woman will have either very long wild hair or cropped even shaved hair. Her hair will likely be coloured to a very dark shade. Her make-up will be heavy and ornate. Lots of black eyeliner and dark lipstick or smokey eyes with pouting pinks and red lipsticks

To read more about the Rebellious woman, her style, the fabrics she chooses, how she incorporates the other personalities into her look and how to create a capsule for her. Read my Every Woman’s Guide to Personalities here.

Business Dress Code Level 1

business clothing level one
business clothing level one by claremaxfield featuring a blazer jacket
The way you dress speaks volumes. Make sure your clothes are sticking up for you.
No matter what industry you are in, if you plan to be successful you are going to be expected to look successful. It might be that you do not wear suits because you have to but you might end up wearing suits because you want to. Each level is represented by one main feature of dressing.
At Level one the main distinguishing item is the maching suit with elegant accessories and traditional styling.
Shoes are simple leather for men and women. For women it is a tie and suit whilst for women it is primarily a skirt suit. However a pants suit can be worn as well. The colours at level one are black, white, charcoal and navy. With pops of simple colours, red, yellow, green and blue. Fabrics are woollen plain, pinstripe or check.

The time to wear Level one is in a very traditional field such as law or finance. Other events which may require you to wear a traditional suit in your industry can be during any of the following situations

Representing your company outside the organisation

Meeting clients for the first time.

Making a presentation

Leading a meeting with clients

Visiting a client who wears Level 1 dressing

Dealing with International clients or handling business overseas

Women can also wear elements of the image below as long as their top always has a jacket over it and the jacket is matching to the skirt, dress or trousers.

What does the Natural Woman look like?

General Description

The Natural Woman
The Natural Woman

Comfort is most important to you. The idea of squeezing into restrictive clothing is not for you. Jeans and pants are preferable to suits, skirts and dresses, Casual Friday is your favourite day of the work week, natural fibres and casual fit are more important than looking good. You are very down to earth and matter of fact in your approach to life.

Challenges – wearing make-up, stockings, skirts and high heels.

Perceived Personality Style Determined, no nonsense, matter of fact, straight to the point. People don’t expect you to mince your words and they may expect you to be tougher internally than you truly are. They might see you as being very independent.

Hair and Make-up

Less is truly more for you. No fuss and bother for you. If your hair is long it will be generally straight and will be worn in a no fuss manner. Shorter cuts for you will require that it will be almost a shake and go finish. Naturals with curl and wave are the luckiest as their hair will hold volume without the use of sprays and gels. Straight haired naturals have to be careful of not looking limp.

There is no fuss with the naturals make-up either. In many cases the natural will only wear a lip gloss and maybe some mascara. In a corporate role you may require more make-up to give your face some depth.

What does The Feminine Woman Look Like?

General description

Feminine Woman
Feminine Woman

The feminine personality dresser is distinctly womanly and sometimes romantic in her appearance. There is nothing masculine, sharp or hard in her finish. Feminine women will take the time to attend to the smallest detail of their outfit. They will have soft features and soft lines to their body. Scarlet O’Hara is the goddess of all feminine women.

Challenges – sharp restricting clothing, anything too tight. She will hate wearing a suit and will rarely wear jeans. especially the hard unforgiving denim of old.

Perceived Personality Style She is friendly, polished, focused on finer details, may appear soft but has a strong backbone. She is the hostess, a giver of care and will welcome everyone to her home.

Hair and Make-up

Pretty is the only way to describe a feminine woman. She has delicate, evenly balanced features. Her hair is never short. It is either a soft bob, at its shortest or a long mane of wavy hair which can be worn up in all manner of elegant or sexy styles. Feminine woman will often retain their hair and make-up not just for years but decades, be aware that you are not falling into an age trap where what was once beautiful is now tragic. She will always have her lipstick on and will have touch up make-up in her purse.

What does the Elegant Chic Woman Look Like

General Description

Elegant Chic Woman
Elegant Chic Woman

The woman who is Elegant Chic is a mix of the simplicity of Classic with the defined style of the Feminine and the casual elegance of Natural. She prefers quality of quantity and will avoid the flamboyance of fast fashion for the lasting natural of Classicism.

Challenges – Feeling modern and fashionable. Invariably you will get tired of your look but as much as you try something new it will lay dormant in your wardrobe as you comfortably return to your inherent style.

Perceived personality: Aloof and untouchable while willing to help charitably. She is successful or comes from old money. She is dignified and is not trying to be anyone else. She knows her style.

Hair and Make-up

Your hair will range from a short to a long bob and your colour will vary from a soft golden blonde to rich medium brown. You will apply your make every day in an expert and very subtle manner. You will ensure you always look good, with the minimum of fuss, a minimum of effort and a maximum of effect.
